Street Dance

Grand Rivers 1858 JH O'Bryan Avenue, Grand Rivers

A tradition almost as old as Grand Rivers itself! The street dance takes place in the middle of town between Payne Street & Cumberland Avenue on JH O'Bryan. Grand Rivers' house band "The Underdogs" entertain the second Saturday each month May - September!

Hunters Moon Festival

Grand Rivers oldest festival, Hunter's Moon, is held the second Saturday in October yearly. A tradition that has been taking place since 1977. Food vendors, craft & retail vendors, live-entertainment, parade, children & family activities, costume parade, and street dance. The Hunter's Moon Festival is attend by thousands of guests each year!

Trunk Or Treat

Grand Rivers Community Center 155 W. Cumberland Avenue, Grand Rivers

The annual Grand Rivers Trunk-Or-Treat takes place each year on Halloween from 5 PM - 7 PM. Local and area residents, businesses, groups, or organizations set-up "treat stations" indoors and outdoors with goodies and treats for trick-or-treaters. Each treat station is decorated in a theme, most participants wear costumes and make the night a treat for all! A cash prize is award to the best decorated treat station. Everyone from the lakes area is welcomed and invited to set-up a treat station and all trick-or-treaters from the surrounding counties and area are always welcome. In 2020, 16 treat stations were set-up, 700 individuals attended, and over 500 pounds of candy and treats were handed out.

Festival Of Lights

Grand Rivers 1858 JH O'Bryan Avenue, Grand Rivers

A spectacular sight to see, the Festival of Lights beings the first Friday of November through Mid-January. Over 2 million sparkling Christmas lights adorn the streets of Grand Rivers, Patti's 1880's Settlement, Little Lake Park, and the town's businesses. Lights are on nightly dusk until 10 PM. This is FREE family-friendly way to enjoy the Christmas season.

Breakfast With Santa

Grand Rivers Community Center 155 W. Cumberland Avenue, Grand Rivers

Enjoy a magical morning with Santa, Mrs. Claus, and a surprise visit or two from other characters. In the true magic of Christmas, Santa and Mrs. Claus knows each childs name and a thing or two about them that only the real Santa would know! Each child recieves a special gift bag, time and pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus, plays reindeer games with the elfs, and everyone enjoys a good breakfast! $15 per person (2 and under free), $55 for a table for 4, $70 for a table of 6, and $110.00 for a table of 8. Groups of 8 or more must purchase two or more sets of tickets. All adults and children over the age of two must purchase a ticket. Two breakfasts dates will be held and seating is limited. Breakfast dates will be November 13 & November 20. Each beakfast will have two seating times, 8 AM & 9:30 AM. Please arrive at the seating time you select.

Hometown Holiday

The annual Hometown Holiday celebration grows each year! The event includes Dicken's style carolers, free carriage rides, character performances and photo opts, & more to get you into the holiday spirit. This is a great family-friendly, free event that has been compared to Disney events and being in a live Hallmark movie by attendees.
